SA: SA premier wants Hicks to make genuine apology

South Australia's premier says DAVID HICKS should make a genuine and unconditional
apology for his terrorist-related conduct.

The 32-year-old will be released from an Adelaide jail tomorrow .. after completing
his sentence for providing material support for terrorism.

He's expected to make a statement upon release through his family or lawyers.

MIKE RANN says Australians want to see HICKS turn his life around.

He says if HICKS intends to make an apology .. he hopes it's a genuine and unconditional apology.

Mr RANN says the control order on HICKS .. imposing a curfew and other conditions ..

is absolutely necessary .. as he was involved in active support of terrorist organisations.
