Vic: Poor design caused Arthur's seat chairlift collapse=2

Arthur's Seat Chairlift was built in 1959 and opened in December 1960.

The chairlift is 950 metres long and rises 225 vertical metres from the ground, carryingup to 80 double chairs.

After the accident, Mr HUDSON closed the chairlift, saying it could be for six months,orcould be forever.
